Sunday lunch in Edinburgh

Where can I get Sunday Indian lunch in Edinburgh?

The Prahna Indian Grill, at 295A St John's Road in Corstorphine, serves Sunday lunch from noon to 9pm with the full à la carte menu and a Sunday-only tandoor roast option. Children eat half-price on Sundays.

Sunday is a long, unhurried service at Prahna. The dining room opens at noon and the kitchen runs straight through to 9pm, so there is no awkward 3pm gap. You can book a late lunch and drift into early dinner without changing tables.

The full à la carte menu is available all day. On Sundays we also offer a single tandoor roast plate, alternating week to week between marinated lamb, chicken, or partridge, served with masala potatoes, charred greens, and a small jug of saffron jus. We do not list it on the printed menu; your server will mention it when you sit down.

Children eat at half price on Sundays, on smaller portions of any main from the à la carte. Highchairs are stocked. The dining room is laid out wide enough for prams.

Bookings are taken through SevenRooms or by phone on 0131 563 4748. Walk-ins are welcome and we hold a portion of the room back from online bookings to keep room for diners passing by.
