Indian brunch in Edinburgh

Where can I get Indian brunch in Edinburgh?

The Prahna Indian Grill in Corstorphine serves an Indian brunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am to 11:30am. The menu runs the line between a Scottish full breakfast and a Bombay morning, with cooked plates, naan-bread rolls, fruit and grain bowls, and Cutting Masala Chai brewed long.

Brunch at Prahna runs three mornings a week — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — from 9am to 11:30am. It is a small, distinctive service: the Prahna Full Breakfast (sticky maple turkey bacon, crumbled chicken sausage, masala beans, Bombay scrambled egg, hash brown, butter pao); the Prahnaan Breakfast Rolls (an Old School with bacon and sausage, a Highland with venison sausage, haggis and chutney, a Village vegetarian with hash brown and bhaji); and lighter plates of Scottish berry yoghurt and naked-naughty-nuts organic granola.

The vegetarian breakfast is built around two veg sausages, masala beans, smashed avocado, Bombay scrambled eggs, and grilled tomato. There is a vegan-friendly avocado-and-toast on grilled fire toast that's particularly good with chilli tomato jam.

Booking is recommended on Saturdays and Sundays, particularly on long weekends. Reserve through SevenRooms or by phone on 0131 563 4748.
